For this Dallas beignet concept, we were asked to create a brand identity that encapsulated the tradition and authenticity of the French pastry.
With French cafe and bakery aesthetics at the forefront of our design inspiration, we set out to create a brand that embodied the culture and experience of their sweet beignet served behind it’s doors.
We started with a bold, modern main logo that took direct inspiration from French storefront hand painted signage. The icon, placed above the main logo is a symmetrical, minimal take of a plate holding 5 beignets. Dense detail pattern and a clean round logo in muted pastel colors complete the final brand which reminisces on the vintage and fresh European pastry cafe.
