Coeval Studio was established in 2007 after John Paul Valverde and Miguel Vicéns merged their talents together and the studio has continued to grow since.

Discovery is an important step and the foundation which ensures a common understanding of your brand, vision, and culture. The Discovery is the first step of our process. We gather our team together to dive into the targeted ideas and goals for the concept, and get to know you as well- what you like, what you hope to achieve, and help you lay the foundation of your concept.

After our the Discovery, we begin developing the concept by brainstorming ideas, gathering materials, and sourcing unique pieces. We put together mood boards and finish boards to show you what we have in mind to make a reality.

At the same time that we are developing the mood boards and finish boards, we develop the brand identity and direction. We create realistic mock-ups for you and your team so that you can visualize how the brand will be applied in unison to the space and interiors.

We develop multiple schematics that we feel work best for the real estate, paying close attention to the flow and arrangement of everything from the seating to the kitchen equipment and how staff and guests alike will navigate through the space.

Once the schematic is chosen and interior finishes are approved, we begin the rendering process so that you can see what we’ve envisioned for your concept. We pick views that would showcase the concept to be shared with your team and with the press.

After our development. We focus on immersing our client into the space. With our own Virtual Experience, we focus on areas based on scale, flow and key elements to help evoke the future operator.

We stay involved even in the construction phase, and visit the construction site frequently to oversee construction. We answer any questions the general contractors may have and make sure that everything is built to match the plans.
